Pioneer Trust as the name goes, is a pioneer in the field of education and was founded in 1997 by (Late) Sri. G. Devarajan and Smt.D. Suguna. The Founder Trustee Smt. D. Suguna is an eminent Educationist and Philanthropist. Education for knowledge and personality building has been her motive and she has been well groomed through the years in this field by her experienced elders namely, Sri G. R. Govindarajulu and
Sri. G. K. Devarajulu.

Rich and varied has been our Founder Trustee's experience for the past three decades ranging from Kindergarten to Higher Secondary Education and from Polytechnic to Post Graduate Studies.

With the main objective of imparting modern and secular education to the youth of Coimbatore, especially to the rural section, in and around Perianaikenpalayam, the Trust established Pioneer College of Arts and Science in 1998. The management well known for its commitment to the cause of education has already imprinted its name efficiently managing all levels of School Education.

In establishing this College, they have moved into exploration of higher regions of education. The involvement of all the family members in this cause needs special mention.
